Southport guard AJ Dancler (2023) received a scholarship offer from Kent State this week after visiting the school for an elite camp. It was Dancler’s second D1 offer as Northern Illinois was the first school to offer.

Pike’s Ryan Conwell (2022) named a top ten on Tuesday. The Indianapolis guard sported zero D1 offers in mid-June before his recruitment skyrocketed at the Charlie Hughes Shootout and continuing into July.

On Tuesday, Arsenal Tech High School guard Reggie Bass announced that he is no longer committed to Illinois via a Twitter post. With the de-commitment, Bass becomes one of the top unsigned seniors in the state.
