(Logan Imes in the spring of 2021)
On an unofficial visit to Penn State, Zionsville's Logan Imes (2023) received a scholarship offer from the Nittany Lions. It is the first Big Ten offer for Imes.
After an outstanding sophomore season, Imes propelled
Indiana Elite's 16U squad to an undefeated record in the spring. Then he played with the 17U team in July and performed well. Following the evaluation period,
Creighton and Bulter extended offers to Imes. They joined Akron, Bradley, Southern
Illinois-Edwardsville, and UMass with offers to Imes.
At six-foot-four, Imes combines excellent size and quickness from the point guard spot. In addition, he is a fantastic slasher and playmaker for others. With Zionsville, he will use his slashing and scoring ability more than he did with
Indiana Elite. Imes ran the show on the club circuit and set up his teammates first and foremost but did not pass up scoring opportunities either.
With those tools and his feel for the game,
Indiana Basketball Source views Imes as a solid high-major prospect. He proved that status over the spring and summer against the top-flite competition, and Imes has room to grow as a player in addition to his current production. Imes possesses a tremendous future.
