Justin Martin is transferring from Xavier. He will graduate and be eligible immediately. The 6-6, 205 forward that averaged 12 points per game last season for Xavier. He shot 37% from 3 while also grabbing 5 rebounds per game.
He is an Indianapolis native that committed to Louisville in high school before going to Mountain State Academy and ended up signing with Xavier. Martin was a member of the 2010 recruiting class. He played his first 3 years of high school at Lawrence North High School.
Loyola (Ill.) sophomore Matt O'Leary is transferring out of the program. He will have 2 years left. O'Leary played for Nick Vandergrift's Indiana Elite team, and he also played at Terre Haute North. He averaged 4.2 PPG and 3 RPG in 20 minutes of action a game. He shot 22% from 3 and 57% from the FT line. He played in 31 games for Loyola.
He is listed at 6-8, 225 on the Loyola site. Below average athlete that was known as a shooter out of high school although he was not an elite shooter (proven by his shooting stats this season.)
