Updated: Evaluation Period Offers

The list of scholarship offers given out to prospects during the month of July is hard to sort out at times. Here is a break down of scholarship offers out to Indiana prospects and notable out of state players during the first week of the evaluation period.

 

Dylan Windler – 6-6 – SF – Indiana Elite – 2015

The scholarship offers came rolling in for Windler during the first week of the evaluation period. Northern Kentucky, William & Mary, Belmont, Tennessee Tech and UNC-Greensboro all pulled the trigger on offers.

 

Jaelan Sanford – 6-3 – G – Pocket City Basketball – 2015

The athletic Evansville guard picked up offers from Northern Kentucky and hometown Southern Indiana. Sanford is extremely tough when he is locked in. He has a quick first step and is also a good shooter. He added offers from Illinois State, Bowling Green and Oakland on Monday.

 

Josh Speidel – 6-7 – F – Indiana Elite – 2015

Speidel competed at the adidas Unrivaled event in Chicago this week. He received rave reviews for his play. He picked up an offer from Loyola (Chicago) on Sunday.

 

Bryce Moore – 6-2 – G – Indiana Elite-Diesel – 2015

The Park Tudor guard received his first offer from Delaware on Sunday. He has a lot of physical tools to work with.

 

Brennan Gillis – 6-5 – F – Eric Gordon Central Stars – 2015

Ben Davis forward Brennan Gillis received an offer from Northern Kentucky during the adidas Invite. He was offered by Illinois State last year.

 

Anthony Murphy – 6-4 – SF – Indiana Elite – 2016

Anthony received his first offer after playing in the adidas Unrivaled event. Chicago State offered the Griffith product.

 

Tremell Murphy – 6-5 – F – Indiana Elite – 2016

Twin brother to Anthony, Tremell was also offered by Chicago State. It is his first offer as well.

 

Grant Weatherford - 6-2 - G - Indiana Elite - 2015

Weatherford received rave reviews for his play at the adidas Invite. He has received offers from IUPUI, Northern Kentucky and UC-Davis this week. New Orleans offered him last year.

 

Djimon Henson - 6-4 - SG - UA GRIND-Shepherd - 2016

Henson has received offers from IUPUI and Northern Kentucky this week.

 

Anthony Jones - 6-4 - SG - Eric Gordon Central Stars - 2015

Jones received his first offer on Monday. It came from Austin Peay.

 

Chandler White - 6-2 - SG - Indiana Elite - 2015

White has received offers from Toledo and Kent State this week.

 

Paul Scruggs - 6-3 - SG - UA GRIND Indy Hoosiers - 2017

Scruggs was offered by Xavier on Monday.

 

Davon Dillard - 6-5 - SF - Mac Irvin Fire - 2015

Providence offered the athletic wing on Monday.

 

Notable Out of State Offers

Henry Ellenson – 6-10 – PF – Playground Elite (WI) – 2015

Ellenson has seen an amazing rise in his recruitment over the last three months. He is consistently ranked among the top 2015 prospects in the country now. Kentucky joined the likes of Duke, North Carolina, UCLA, Wisconsin, Marquette and a host of others that have offered Ellenson.

 

Seth Towns – 6-7 – SF – VCC Always 100 (Ohio) – 2016

Towns is an elite prospect that high-major programs are starting to take notice of. Iowa extended an offer to Towns on Sunday. Michigan offered him in June.

 

Aric Holman – 6-9 – PF – Hoop Dreams (KY) – 2015

Holman entered the week with one scholarship offer (Northern Kentucky) and walked away with 11 more. The schools that offered this week are Western Kentucky, Kansas State, Stetson, Florida Gulf Coast, Oklahoma State, VCU, Samford, Auburn, Murray State, Morehead State and Chattanooga.

 

Jaylen Key – 6-6 – F – Wisconsin United – 2015

Key is a “tweener” but college coaches will regret passing on him. He is a compitior that finds a way to get the job down. South Dakota State offered the forward on Sunday.

 

Tyler Hall – 6-4 – PG – Quad City Elite (Ill.) - 2015

Is it possible to have eight scholarship offers and still be highly under-recruited? If so, Tyler Hall is an exmaple of that. He was offered by Western Michigan and SIU-e this week.

 

Trevor Stumpe – 6-5 – SG – Illinois Wolves – 2015

A prospect that raised his stock in the spring was Trevor Stumpe. He was rewarded with an offer from Drake on Sunday.

 

Micah Potter - 6-9 - C - Team Work - 2016

Toledo has offered the rising junior.

 

Jarron Cumberland - 6-4 - SG - Ohio Basketball Club - 2016

The strong guard was offered by Purdue on Monday. They have been tracking Cumberland all spring.

 

Isaiah Roby - 6-7 - SF - Quad City Elite - 2016

Roby picked up his first offer on Monday. Northern Illinois was the first to get on board with Roby. He has the tools to blow up in the future.
